From scrap to strategy.

This assignment was a true joy to be part of. Photographing people who are passionate about their work and find value in what they do was incredibly rewarding. I chose to follow the journey of metal—not from its origin in the earth, but through its rebirth. The story began at the junkyard, where discarded metals are collected. From there, I followed the process to the foundry, where the metals are melted down and repurposed for new life.

Recycled and recharged.

This assignment was a true joy to be part of. What happens to all of our discarded electronics? Many of them contain toxic materials that can be harmful if not handled properly. To understand the process, I visited a lab where these electronics are collected and tested to ensure they’re safe for repurposing. I also had the opportunity to step into the C-suite, gaining insight into the next level of the business—from marketing to research and development. It was a full-circle look at how innovation, responsibility, and sustainability come together behind the scenes.

Portraits with purpose

As the final step in the assignment, I was tasked with capturing fresh headshots of employees in their workspaces. This was a chance to highlight the top talent behind the operation—putting faces to the innovation, dedication, and care that power the entire process.
